Join us for a glorious, relaxing afternoon of organic, herbal soap-making using the cold process method! Make a block of your own signature, cold process soap to take home (approx 8/10 bars) - After curing, you’ll be able to enjoy your soap for months to come - or give it away as gifts (did anyone say Christmas?)..
You will make your soap from vegetable oils and waxes using the cold process soap-making method. No melt-and-pour synthetic soap bases here! You can then personalise your soap using dried flowers, fruit, exfoliants, and fragrances - your own signature blend!
This afternoon session will start at 1pm and finish around 4.00pm
- Tea/coffee and introductions
- The history of soap making and safety instructions.
- The chemistry of soap-making including oil blending.
- Herbal extracts, fragrances, botanicals, and essential oils - you get to choose!
- Soap Making demonstration
- Choose your own fragrances, flowers, exfoliants
- Make your own soap
